On-Chain Mailbox

Send end-to-end encrypted messages from wallet to wallet. The mailbox runs on XMTP, the open messaging network many web3 apps use, so you can reach wallets in other XMTP apps too.

Open it from Settings → Connections & apps → On-Chain Mailbox.

What you need

  • The BESC Wallet app on iPhone or Android
  • A wallet you control that supports XMTP. EVM wallets work best.

Send a message

  1. Tap New message.
  2. Enter the recipient wallet address. Use Paste or type it.
  3. Write your message and tap Send Secure Message.

Requests keep spam out

Messages from wallets you haven't talked to before land in Requests, not your inbox. That keeps phishing, fake airdrops and other spam away from your main inbox. For each one you can:

  • Allow to Inbox: future messages from that wallet go straight to your inbox.
  • Block Wallet: removes the conversation and blocks the sender.

Treat messages like email from a stranger

Never send your recovery phrase or private key to anyone, and be wary of links in messages. No real support team will ever ask for them.

Privacy

Messages are end-to-end encrypted; only you and the other wallet can read them. BESC Wallet only syncs delivery details (who and when) to show your mailbox history. You'll get a notification when a new message arrives.

BESC Wallet is self-custody software. You alone control your keys and recovery phrase.
