Install the app
BESC Wallet is free on Android and iPhone.
| Platform | Get it | Requires |
|---|---|---|
| Android | Google Play | Android 7.0 or later |
| iPhone | App Store | iOS 14 or later |
Only install from the official links
Fake wallet apps are a common scam. Use the links on this page (the stores above, or the TestFlight beta below), check that the developer is BESC, and never install a wallet from a link someone sends you in a chat.
Get new features early (iPhone beta)
New versions of BESC Wallet go through App Store review before release. To get them as soon as they're ready, join the TestFlight beta:
- Install Apple's TestFlight app from the App Store.
- On your iPhone, open testflight.apple.com/join/xttPSkX8.
- Tap Accept, then Install.
TestFlight installs the beta in place of the App Store version, and updates arrive in TestFlight as new builds are released. Each beta build works for up to 90 days; TestFlight offers the newer one before it expires. To go back, install BESC Wallet from the App Store again.
Back up first
Beta builds are newer and may be less polished. Before switching, make sure you've written down your recovery phrase, so your wallet is safe whichever version you use.
First launch
When you open BESC Wallet for the first time you'll see the welcome screen, Your keys. Your crypto., with four ways to start:
| Option | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Create a new wallet | You're new to crypto, or you want a fresh wallet. → Create a new wallet |
| Import recovery phrase | You have a 12 or 24 word phrase from another wallet app. → Import |
| Private key | You have a single private key exported from another wallet. → Import |
| Watch wallet | You only want to follow an address's balance, without the ability to send. → Watch |
Next, you choose Basic or Pro mode. You can change this any time in Settings. See Basic and Pro mode.
Notifications
On first launch your phone asks whether BESC Wallet may send notifications. They're used for things like incoming wallet messages, copy-trading alerts and referral updates. You can change this later in your phone's settings.
