Staking

On some networks you can lock up coins to help secure the network and earn rewards. BESC Wallet shows a Staking card under the asset list on Home for these networks:

NetworkWhat the card doesWhen it appears
TronShows your stake, energy and bandwidth. Stake, unstake, withdraw and claim. On every Tron wallet
Cosmos HubShows your delegations and rewards. Stake, stake more, unstake and claim. On every Cosmos Hub wallet
SuiShows your native SUI stake per validator.Only when the wallet has a stake
AptosShows your delegated APT per pool.Only when the wallet has a stake

On other networks no card is shown. Make sure the right wallet and network are selected at the top of Home.

Every staking action opens a decoded review sheet first, then asks you to approve with biometrics or your 6-digit app passcode if you've set an app lock. Staking rows then appear in Activity as Staked, Unstaked, Claimed rewards and so on.

Tron

The card is called Staking & resources. On Tron, staking TRX gives you energy or bandwidth (the resources transactions use) plus voting power.

What it shows

  • Total staked, with your number of votes
  • Energy and Bandwidth meters: how much you've used of your limit. Bandwidth includes the free daily allowance. With no energy you'll see No energy yet. Stake TRX for energy to send tokens without burning TRX.
  • Staked for energy and Staked for bandwidth
  • Delegated to others, Unclaimed voting rewards and Ready to withdraw, when you have any
  • Unstaking: each amount still unlocking, with the date it becomes available

Actions

ActionWhat happens
StakeStake TRX for energy or bandwidth (you choose). Unstaking takes 14 days. Max keeps 1 TRX available for network fees.
UnstakeStart unstaking from energy or bandwidth. Unstaked TRX becomes available after 14 days. You lose its energy or bandwidth right away.
WithdrawAppears when unstaked TRX is ready; moves it back to your balance.
Claim rewardsAppears when you have voting rewards to claim.

Cosmos Hub

On Cosmos Hub you stake ATOM by delegating it to a validator.

What it shows

  • Total staked, and how many validators you use
  • Pending rewards, Unbonding (if any) and Available to stake
  • Delegations: each validator with your amount, its rewards and its commission. A validator that isn't active is marked Inactive · no rewards.
  • Unbonding: each amount still unlocking, with the date it becomes available

If you haven't staked yet: Nothing staked yet. Pick a validator to start earning staking rewards.

Actions

ActionWhat happens
Stake ATOM / Stake with a validatorOpens the validator picker, then the amount. Rewards start accruing right away. Unstaking takes 21 days.
Stake moreAdds to an existing delegation. Max keeps 0.01 ATOM for network fees.
UnstakeUndelegates from that validator. Unstaked ATOM earns nothing and becomes available after 21 days.
ClaimOne tap claims the rewards from every validator that has some.

Choosing a validator

Choose a validator lists validators with their share of total stake and commission, and you can search by name. Commissions of 20% or more are highlighted. Spreading stake beyond the largest validators helps keep the network decentralized.

Sui and Aptos

These cards show your existing stake; staking and unstaking on Sui and Aptos are done elsewhere, for example in a dApp in the browser.

  • Sui (Native SUI staking): each validator you've staked with, its status, your amount, the network's APY and the estimated rewards.
  • Aptos (Delegated APT): each delegation pool, with active, unlocking and withdrawable APT.

The card shows the total Staked, Rewards earned and the USD value when known. Tap a position to open its validator on the block explorer.
