Bridges overview

A bridge moves value from one network to another, for example USDC on Ethereum to BESC Hyperchain. BESC Wallet has three bridges built in. Open them from Hub → Bridge.

Before you bridge

  • Gas on the source network. You pay the source network's fee, so keep a little ETH, BNB, SOL or similar there.
  • Gas on the destination. To use the funds once they arrive, you'll need the destination's coin too. On BESC Hyperchain that's BESC.
  • Check the receiving address. BESC Wallet fills in your own wallet on the destination network. If you change it, double-check it.
  • Bridges take time. Most transfers finish in a few minutes. You can leave the screen; the status keeps updating.

Following a bridge

After you submit, BESC Wallet tracks the transfer through its steps:

  1. Prepare or check the route
  2. Approve the token, if needed
  3. Confirm the source transaction
  4. Submit the bridge request
  5. Receive on the destination network

If a step shows still indexing or processing, the bridge has your transfer and it's moving. Give it a few minutes.

BESC Wallet is self-custody software. You alone control your keys and recovery phrase.
