Home and balances

The Wallet tab is your home screen. It shows the active wallet, its balance on the selected network, and everything you can do with it.

Top of the screen

  • Wallet button (top left): the active wallet's name and short address. Tap to switch between wallets on this network.
  • Network button (top right): the network you're viewing, such as BESC Hyperchain. Tap to switch networks. See Networks and wallets.
  • Settings (⚙ icon, top right corner).

The balance card

  • Total balance: the value of the tokens on the active wallet and network that you haven't hidden. Tap the 👁 icon (or the number) to hide balances, handy in public.
  • Today: the 24-hour change in percent and in dollars.
  • Mode badge:
    • Self-custody ready: a wallet you control, ready to send.
    • Watch-only: a watched address; it can't send.
    • Hardware secured: signing happens on your hardware wallet.
  • Chips: number of assets, your Holder Score, and supported networks.

  • Tap a token to open its detail card: balance, price, contract, a Check Token safety scan and Hide.
  • ⋮ on a token for quick options: Hide token, Details & safety check, and copy symbol, name or contract.

See Tokens: add, hide, check.

Staking card

On Tron and Cosmos Hub, and on Sui and Aptos wallets that have a stake, a Staking card appears under the asset list. See Staking.

Keeping it fresh

Balances, Activity and NFTs all follow the selected network. Balances refresh when you open the tab, return to the app, or pull down on the screen. In the background, BESC Wallet also signs you in to its service automatically using a wallet you control, so Activity and Security fill in without you doing anything.

If balances can't load (for example, a network node is down or your connection dropped), you'll see Couldn't load [network] balances right now. BESC Wallet retries on its own after about 5, 15 and 30 seconds, so it usually clears without you doing anything. You can also pull down to refresh, or pick a different node in Settings → Wallets & networks → Node settings.

BESC Wallet is self-custody software. You alone control your keys and recovery phrase.
