FAQ
Is BESC Wallet free?
Yes. The app is free. You pay normal network fees when you send, swap or bridge, plus any bridge or provider fees shown before you confirm.
Does BESC hold my crypto?
No. BESC Wallet is self-custody: your keys are on your phone and only you can move your funds. The one exception is a bot wallet you choose to set up for server-run bots. See Your bot wallet.
Can BESC recover my wallet if I lose my phrase?
No. Nobody can. Your recovery phrase is the only way to restore a wallet. Back it up on paper and keep it safe.
Can I use my MetaMask, Trust Wallet or Phantom wallet?
Yes. Import it with its recovery phrase or a private key. Your funds don't move; you just get access in BESC Wallet too.
Which networks are supported?
15 out of the box: BESC Hyperchain, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, Bitcoin, Solana, Tron, Cosmos Hub, Sui, Aptos and XRP Ledger. You can also add your own EVM or Solana networks.
Do I need a separate wallet for each network?
No. One recovery phrase covers every network. When you create or import a wallet with a recovery phrase, BESC Wallet sets it up on all of them under the same name. See Networks and wallets.
Why does Polygon show POL instead of MATIC?
POL is the current name of Polygon's coin. BESC Wallet shows it under that name.
Why don't I see my Activity or NFTs?
They follow the network selected at the top of Home. Switch to the network the transaction or NFT is on.
Why is my address the same on BESC Hyperchain and Ethereum?
All EVM networks use the same address format, so one wallet has the same address on all of them. The networks are still separate: always send on the network you mean to.
How do I get BESC?
Buy crypto and swap it for BESC, or bridge it in with the WBESC Bridge or BUSDC Bridge.
What's the difference between Basic and Pro mode?
Basic has the full wallet: send, receive, swap, bridge, buy and the browser. Pro adds bots, copy trading, Intel and the Holder Score tab. See Basic and Pro mode.
What is the Holder Score?
A 0–100 trust score based on your BESC and MONEY holdings, how long you hold, and your activity. It unlocks trading bots. See Holder Score.
Do I need to "sync" or "link" anything?
No. BESC Wallet signs you in and links your wallets automatically in the background.
Is it safe to connect to dApps?
Connecting only shares your address. What matters is what you sign afterwards: read every request, and reject anything you don't understand. See dApp browser.
Why does pump.fun (or another site) say my wallet doesn't meet its compliance policy?
That message comes from the website, not from BESC Wallet. Some sites screen the addresses that connect to them against their own risk lists (for example, addresses that are publicly known or known to be compromised) and refuse ones that match. BESC Wallet doesn't run or control that check and can't override it. If you believe the address was flagged by mistake, contact the site. If the address might be compromised (for example, its recovery phrase or key was ever exposed), move your funds to a new wallet.
Why is a transaction marked "Possible spam"?
The server flagged it as likely spam, such as an address-poisoning transfer or a spam airdrop. It's dimmed but still shown. Never copy addresses from it. See Activity.
What does MEV protection actually do?
It depends on the network: on Ethereum your swap goes through Flashbots Protect, on BNB Chain through PancakeSwap MEV Guard (with 48 Club as a fallback), and on Solana it's also sent through the Jito block engine. Base, Optimism and Arbitrum order transactions through a sequencer with no public mempool. On other networks the swap screen says protection isn't available. See Swap.
Are messages in the mailbox private?
Yes, end-to-end encrypted over XMTP. See On-Chain Mailbox.
Where's the hidden game?
Tap the BESC logo on Home five times. See Moonshot.
