Troubleshooting

Balances

My balance shows $0 or a token is missing

  • Check you're on the right wallet and network (top of Home).
  • Pull down to refresh.
  • Is the token hidden? Open Manage and switch it on.
  • Still missing? Add it by contract address.

A balance looks wrong or out of date

  • Pull down to refresh. If a network's node is having trouble, BESC Wallet switches to a backup automatically; give it a moment.
  • If you added your own RPC in Node settings, it may be out of date. Remove it to go back to the default nodes.

"Couldn't load [network] balances right now"

  • BESC Wallet retries on its own after about 5, 15 and 30 seconds, so this usually clears without you doing anything.
  • If it doesn't, pull down to refresh in a moment, or pick a different node in Settings → Wallets & networks → Node settings.

The app was slow or stuck after I came back to it

  • When you return to the app after a while, BESC Wallet now drops the old network connections your phone closed in the background and starts fresh ones, and a request that hits a dead connection is retried once automatically. Balances then refresh on their own.
  • If something still looks stale, pull down to refresh.

"No [network] wallet yet"

  • You don't have a wallet on this network. If a recovery phrase is already on your phone, tap Add [network] From Recovery Phrase to add it in one tap. See Networks and wallets.
  • Wallets imported by private key, and watch-only addresses, only appear on the network family they were added for.

My Bitcoin balance is lower than in my old wallet app

  • Wallets restored from a recovery phrase scan native SegWit, Taproot, nested SegWit and legacy addresses (20 unused addresses past the last used one). Pull down to refresh after the first scan.
  • If your old app used a different account than the first one, import that account's private key instead.

Some of my XRP can't be sent

  • The XRP Ledger keeps part of every account's XRP as a reserve (a base amount plus an amount per trust line or other ledger object). Home shows how much is held. See XRP Ledger reserve.

Sending

"Not enough" or the transfer failed

  • You need the network's coin for the fee (BESC on BESC Hyperchain, ETH on Ethereum, and so on). Don't send your full balance of it.

My transfer is "submitted" but hasn't arrived

  • Tap Open Explorer on the transaction to see its status. Busy networks can take a little longer.
  • Check you sent on the right network. Funds sent on another network arrive on that network, not BESC Hyperchain.

"Enter a valid address"

  • The address must match the network: 0x… for EVM, bc1… for Bitcoin, T… for Tron, and so on.

Sending to an exchange on XRP Ledger or Cosmos Hub

  • Exchanges credit deposits by a destination tag (XRP) or memo (Cosmos). Enter the one the exchange gave you in the optional field under the recipient. On XRP, if the exchange's address requires a tag and you leave it empty, the app stops before sending.

A Solana transfer says it wasn't confirmed in time

  • The transfer was signed once and most likely expired without moving funds. Check Activity (or the explorer) before trying again.

Swaps

The quote keeps changing or expired

  • Prices move. Quotes refresh automatically; review the new one.

"Price impact" warning

  • Your trade is large for the pool. Try a smaller amount.

The swap cancelled

  • The price moved past your slippage limit. Only the network fee was spent. Try again, or raise slippage slightly for tokens with a transfer tax.

Bridges

My bridge is taking a while

  • Most bridges take a few minutes; status updates in the Hub. Processing or still indexing means the bridge has your transfer.
  • Keep the transaction hash. If it's been much longer than the estimate, contact support.

BUSDC withdrawals show "paused" or "try a smaller amount"

  • Withdrawals depend on pool liquidity. Try a smaller amount or try later. Bridging into BESC still works.

Activity and Security tabs are empty

  • Activity and NFTs follow the selected network. Switch network at the top of Home to see another network's history.
  • They need at least one wallet you control on the phone. With only watch-only wallets, you'll see balances but no history. Add or import a wallet you control.
  • Check your connection and tap Try again.

Locked out

I forgot my app passcode

  • Tap Forgot passcode? on the unlock screen to reset local access, then restore your wallets with their recovery phrases or private keys.

I lost my phone

  • Install BESC Wallet on a new phone and import your recovery phrase. If you think someone else may have your phrase, move your funds to a brand-new wallet right away.

I lost my recovery phrase

  • If you can still open the app, export it now and write it down. If you can't open the app and don't have the phrase, nobody (including BESC) can recover the wallet.

Still stuck?

Get support.

BESC Wallet is self-custody software. You alone control your keys and recovery phrase.
