Tokens: add, hide, check

Tokens appear on their own

BESC Wallet finds the tokens in your wallet automatically, from your balances and recent activity. Most of the time you don't need to add anything.

Add a token

If a token doesn't show up, add it by its contract address:

  1. Tap Tools → Tokens, or Manage → Add Token on the asset list.
  2. Make sure the right network is selected.
  3. Paste the token address (the contract address on EVM networks, or the mint address on Solana).
  4. On EVM networks the token is detected and safety-checked automatically: you'll see its name, symbol, decimals and a safety result. On other networks, fill in the details yourself.
  5. Tap to add it.

The Tokens tab also lists your Custom tokens and Auto-detected tokens for the network, and you can remove a custom token there.

Scam tokens copy real names

Anyone can create a token called "USDC" with the real logo. Only add contract addresses from trusted sources such as the project's official site, or a block explorer you trust.

Hide a token

Hide spam airdrops or tokens you don't care about. Hidden tokens don't appear in your list and don't count toward your total balance.

Three ways to hide:

  • ⋮ on the token → Hide token
  • Tap the token → Hide on its detail card
  • Manage → switch the token off

Right after hiding you'll see a notice with Undo. To bring a token back later, open Manage and switch it on.

TIP

Hiding only changes what you see. It doesn't move or destroy the tokens; they stay in your wallet on the blockchain.

Check a token's safety

Tap a token and choose Check Token (or ⋮ → Details & safety check). BESC Wallet scans the contract and shows a verdict:

VerdictMeaning
Looks safeNo major red flags found.
SuspiciousSome warning signs. Be careful.
High riskStrong signs of a scam or trap. Avoid buying or interacting.

You also see the details behind it when available: risk score (0–100), honeypot risk (can you sell it at all?), whether it's mintable (more can be created), whether the owner is renounced, and buy/sell tax.

INFO

A safety check is a strong signal, not a guarantee. "Looks safe" doesn't mean a token is a good investment.

Run a check before you swap into, or send, any token you don't know. Swaps also run a check on the token you're buying. See Transaction protections.

BESC Wallet is self-custody software. You alone control your keys and recovery phrase.
